Based on what we learned in lesson one, in this lesson let’s build an airliner!

2. Do it by hand
1.Make a single piece of outline building
(1) Sketch the building in your mind.
(2) Use the mobile APP “Scanning Almighty King” to scan the painted train and import it into the laser software LasrMaker.
(3) Click “Picture – Crop” on the menu bar above the software to crop out the blank part.
(4) Click “Picture- Outline” to sketch out the outline.
(5) In the layer parameter area on the right side of the software, select No output picture, box the inner outline and delete it, leave the outer outline, and then select Output picture.
(6) Double-click the layer parameter area on the right side of the software to set the parameters of the layer.
(7) After completing the above Settings, import the laser cutting machine for processing, and the single piece of Canton Tower will be finished.
2. Make a complete version of building
(1)Copy and paste “Canton Tower” and draw two 3*140mm size rectangles to place at the top and bottom of “Canton Tower”;
(2) After the machine processing is completed, the two “Canton Tower” are crossed and connected. (Glue can be used to attach them firmly)
3. Machine processing
The design files saved in the above demonstration are respectively imported into the laser cutting machine for processing. Tip: remember to adjust the focal length before processing to avoid the situation of impenetrable cutting.
4. Works upgrade
Add lighting
(1) First draw a circle with a diameter of 21mm, then draw a rectangle with a length of 2*10mm and weld using the “Weld” function;
(2)Next draw a 6*2mm rectangle and weld it to the figure just drawn;
(3)Finally, use the function of “Draw Bessel curve and lines” to roughly draw the shape of the starting light-emitting diode, and weld it to the previous figure;
(4) Draw another 12.03mm circle, and place the two parts on the top part of the “Canton Tower” to complete the design of the design drawing.
(5) After the machine processing is completed, take out the parts, clip the long foot of the white light-emitting diode on the smooth surface of the button battery, and clip the short foot on the rough surface of the battery, and place it on the top part of the “Canton Tower”.
(If you can’t put it smoothly, you can use glue to stick it firmly).
(6)Canton Tower is done!

(1) What is a building?
Buildings include two types of buildings and structures. Buildings are artificial environments created by people in order to meet the needs of life by using the material and technical means they have mastered and by applying certain scientific laws, geomancy concepts and aesthetic laws.
(2) Is the house we live in a kind of architecture?
Yes.
(3) Make a list of the buildings we know around us.
Eiffel Tower in Paris, Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the Forbidden City in China, the Pentagon in America…

Guide the students to review the main content of lesson 1 and teach the new operating points
Make a single outline building demonstration
(1)Use the mobile APP “Scan Almighty King” to scan the finished drawing and import it into the laser editing software LaserMaker. First, click “Picture-Crop” on the menu bar above the software to crop out the blank part, and then click “Picture -outline” to describe the outline of the image.
(2)In the layer parameter area on the right of the software, select No output image, box out the inner outline and delete it, leave the outer outline, and then select output image.
(3) Double-click the layer parameter area on the right side of the software to set the parameters of the layer.
Make a stereoscopic airliner demonstration

(2)After the machine is finished, cross the two “Canton Tower”. (Glue can be used to attach them firmly)

4. Student operation, Teacher assistance
(1)Hand-drawing: Organize to issue pen and paper to each student for hand-drawing creation within 10 minutes. Arrange at least two assistants to help check whether the edge of hand-drawn works is clearly closed, and use mobile phones to collect and import them into their own computers.
(2)Software design: Guide students to complete the complete design, assist in naming the design file with student number and name and transfer it to the matching computer of the laser cutting machine.
(3)Machine processing: Guide students to complete machine processing steps according to the order of completion of the design.
(4) Assembly: Distribute tools in groups and guide students to assemble their works independently.
