Here’s our custom special medal! It’s made from two materials: cherry wood and acrylic, creating a unique award with a strong visual impact. The outer part is cherry wood with its clear, beautiful grain. In the center, we’ve got clear acrylic where we’ve engraved your award details, making eye-catching patterns and text.

Machine Used

Thunder Bolt 30w

Material Needed

  • A acrylic sheet
  • Cherry wood plank
  • A tube of glue

Settings

  • Engraving Speed:800/1000 mm/s(wood/acrylic)
  • Engraving Power:50/30%(wood/acrylic)
  • Cutting Speed:15/15mm/s(wood/acrylic)
  • Cutting Power:45/80%(wood/acrylic)
  • DPI: 500

Step 1

Import the file into LightBurn, adjust the size, position, and settings. Check out to ensure everything is in order.

Once everything is set, click ‘Print’ to initiate your laser machine’s operation.

Step 3

Peel off the protective paper from the acrylic, then use glue to stick the acrylic and cherry wood together.
